Website hosting first-line support
Our hosting support service provides a first-line of support between our business customers and the web hosting provider. We host our clients website with only professional web hosting companies. We insure that these companies provide at a minimum:
- A secure environment that protects data on the website and prevents unwanted intruders to do damage to the website
- A daily backup of the data on the website
- A support team that is accessible 24 x7 and responsive to issues that might arise
- A monitoring system that can alleviate performance issues and alert support personnel of potential issues
Our first-line supports means that the client never has to contact the hosting company and deal with the technical folks involved in that. Our part in this service is to diagnose any problems and try to solve this problem ourselves. If we are unable to solve the problem we will contact the hosting provider, using the most effective means possible for that provider, and follow the issue through to resolution. During the resolution process we keep our clients informed of the resolution status.
In most cases this support also includes email and domain hosting support as well. Some of the work that we would do in the email support would be adding new email addresses, changing passwords or troubleshooting email issues. We also manage clients domains when requested. This service could include items such as registration and renewal, updating contact information and managing the DNS zone records.
These services are only provided for those customers that we built the website for and/or are on a support contract with us.
